Job Description: We are a rapidly expanding veterinary clinical pathology business which provides a comprehensive and very personal diagnostic laboratory service to veterinary practices both locally and nationally. We would like to recruit an additional clinical pathologist who will contribute to all aspects of our activities, including cytology and CBC review, interpreting and reporting data, and consultation with our veterinary clients in response to requests for information and advice.
Experience Required: Qualified applicants must have a veterinary degree suitable for registration in the UK, and a post-graduate specialist qualification or comparable relevant experience in veterinary clinical pathology or small animal internal medicine. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a closely knit team are essential, with an enthusiasm for laboratory medicine and delivering excellent service. Job Description: We are a rapidly expanding veterinary clinical pathology business which provides a comprehensive diagnostic laboratory service to veterinary practices both locally and nationally. We would like to recruit an additional graduate with a degree in a biological science, or an experienced MLSO wishing to enter the veterinary laboratory environment, who will be trained to become part of our technical team with responsibility for haematology, biochemistry and hormone assays and also clinical microbiology.
Experience Required: Suitable for a graduate with basic laboratory skills in biological science, or an experienced MLSO, who is meticulous, reliable and keen to learn new skills. Previous experience in haematology and/or microbiology would be an advantage. Successful applicant will also need to be computer literate, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, with good communication skills, initiative and ability to work as part of a small flexible team.
